On 02 May, 54 orders (mostly Ukrainian charity t-shirts) on their way to our fans in North America and Western Europe have been denied and returned by Russian customs. Another 120 orders are in the pipeline, making it a total of 174 orders affected.
We lost almost 2,000 US$ in shipping costs.This is unprecedented. The Imperial Age Webshop has never had one single domestic customs return in all 9 years of its existence.
So, regardless of the cause WE HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO CLOSE THE MOSCOW OFFICE – FOR GOOD. THERE WILL BE NO MORE SHIPMENTS FROM RUSSIA. WE NO LONGER HAVE ANY BUSINESS IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION.
We planned to do this anyway during the summer, but now its happening now.
As you are reading this, all the stock is being packed and transferred to our partners in the European Union via a secure route. From now on, they will handle most of Imperial Age storage, production and fulfillment.
Some additional items will also be shipped directly from Latvia, Germany and United States. Later we plan on opening a US office in addition to the EU warehouse.
From now on, shipping will be faster, cheaper, and there will be no customs for EU customers.
IF YOU ORDERED BEFORE MAY 03 AND YOUR TRACKING INDICATES YOUR ORDER IS STILL IN RUSSIA- Your order will be re-shipped from EU. We will send you an email shortly providing a new ETA on when your items will ship and arrive.
ORDERING AFTER MAY 03- If you see an item in our shop this means its ALREADY BEING PRODUCED in EU and will be shipped from there. You can order safely, expect delivery within standard European times.
